Six tastes that helpful for our daily life :

Taste plays a vital role in human life as well as living things. There are six tastes; they all are very beneficial for live healthy life. The following are the different types of tastes and see how it helps human life.

Sweet :
Sweet is the taste of energy. It is the biggest part of our diets. This taste is the most soothing and is the one that brings a feeling of satiety. Sweet is understood by its sticking in the oral cavity, providing a feeling of contentment and pleasure to the body and comfort to the sense organs. It also builds body mass.

Sour :
When you think sour, think acidic? Acid is the taste of sour. The sour taste increases stomach acid.  It can enhance appetite but can also irritate those who have issues with heartburn and other gastrointestinal maladies. Sour tasting food is normally good for Heart. Some regard them to give strength to the heart while some regard them healthy for the heart.

Salty :
Salt is necessary to retain hydration, the reason why salt is in things like Gatorade and other electrolyte drinks doctors use to treat patients suffering from dehydration, diarrhea, etc. This taste increases appetite and enhances the other tastes.

Pungent :
Pungent foods enhance your appetite and improve digestion. Pungent also does a good job of clearing your sinuses. Pungent taste can increase metabolism but aggravate other conditions, such as acid reflux. Pungent spices stimulate by irritating the lining of the digestive tract and other membranes. Made of fire element, pungent taste is sharp and concentrated, fast acting and intense, spreading quickly to all tissues.

Bitter :
The bitter taste detoxifies the system and promotes weight loss but can cause gas and/or indigestion if eaten in excess.

Astringent :

This is often the hardest taste to identify. You can find it in tea, beans, apples, grape skins, pomegranates, and cauliflower. Astringent foods compact the system.
